There are many organizations across the UK using ECDL training and testing solutions supplied by Bridge-Learning.

• A group of Colleges in Scotland teamed up to purchase an annual unlimited user license for ECDL training material, which is delivered online and via CD-ROM for those learners without easy access to the Internet. They also purchased 10,000 test licenses and have set up the Activ automated testing software for delivery over their shared intranet.



• A large Council in England has opted for Activ’s web-hosted online automated testing. Initially purchasing over 1000 test licenses, they are planning to target thousands of employees over the next two to three years. The hosted service provides them with all the data they need, via a secure web-based administration system, to ensure that they fully satisfy the BCS audit requirements.



• A small private training company in South London has been granted approved Test Centre status by the BCS and has purchased 100 test licenses in order to pilot web-hosted automated testing. Already they are seeing the benefits and will save hours of staff time through no longer having to manually mark completed tests, a process that normally takes around 15 minutes per test.



• A large Government Department in Edinburgh has purchased both the Activ ECDL training and automated testing solutions and both of these are being hosted by Activ for access over the Internet. By having these hosted, maintenance and support is all provided by Activ and software upgrades or additions to the license are made swiftly and easily without the need to go through time-consuming internal approval processes.
